Career History:

1968-1980 freelance book illustrator in London for publishers including Evans Bros, Hamlyns,

Oxford University Press and Macmillans.

From 1980 concentrated on portraits and landscapes.

Senellier Award at Patchings National Art Competition 2011

Rowland Hilder Award at The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour 2012

Winner of the Rheebridge Open Art Exhibition 2013

Winner of the Drawing Prize , Bury St. Edmunds Art Society 2011

The Marjory Miller Award for a Painting in Oils, Bury Art Society 2013

2015 Winner of the Royal Society of Watercolourists President's Award at the SEAW Exhibition

2017 Elected Associate of the Institute of East Anglian Artists

2018 Elected "Professional Artist of the Year" by the Society for all Artists.

2018 Cambridge Open Art Exhibition. Portrait selected as one of the "Top Twenty"

2019 Elected a Full Member of the Institute of East Anglian Artists
